The feathers used in Peacock Fancy items are of the highest quality. They are always fumigated, washed, rinsed, sorted and graded before purchasing from our supplier. Each feather is hand selected.

Whereever possible, the sizes of feathers are mentioned however because of the nature of the product the feathers vary from one another and therefore no two items containing feathers will be identical.

Looking after your feather products is relatively easy, just make sure you keep your items out of the way so that they avoid general wear and tear.Try not to get the feathers wet as this may change their shape. If this does happen, shape the feathers before leaving to dry naturally away from direct heat. Feathers tend to loose their 'fluffyness' over long periods of time. To re-awaken old feathers place over a pan of boiling water or a boiling kettle. Only do this for a maxium of 30 seconds so that the glue used to bond some of the products does not come unstuck.
